Ashraf Metwaly joined ACROW Misr in 2020 as a Manufacturing Director, reporting directly to the CEO and a member of the Executive Committee, with excellent expertise in lean manufacturing and over 20 years of work experience in multinational companies holding senior positions in various industries.

In 2019, He held the position of operations director in Royal Herbs, managing the manufacturing and supply chain operations with a strong vision. Before that, he worked as the Plant Manager at Electrolux. With a proven track record of leadership and achievement, Ashraf oversees a workforce of more than 800 employees across various departments, including Safety, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, Warehousing, Operation, Manufacturing Engineering, HR, Controller, and EMS (Lean).

Throughout his tenure, Ashraf has consistently delivered outstanding results, driving significant improvements in safety, quality, and operational efficiency. Under his guidance, the factory has been recognized with prestigious awards, including the Best Improvement Plant in HSE and Best Quality Performance Award in 2014. Additionally, his expertise in Lean manufacturing earned the factory the Bronze EMS Site Certificate, showcasing their commitment to excellence.

He was responsible for planning and directing the glass factory department, implementing strategies, and developing policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards. Over his term, production efficiency has increased from 78% to 85%.

Ashraf Metwaly holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Power Engineering from El Mansoura University and a Master of Business Administration from ESLSCA. In 1999, he embarked on his career in Unilever as a maintenance engineer and held many managerial positions and various responsibilities in various departments over his 10-year tenure.
